Assistant Controller

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and review of monthly consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. Recording accounting entries and closing the books at the end of each month.
• Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
• Internal Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for cost optimization.
• Order to Cash Process: Oversee the end-to-end order to cash process, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of customer orders, billing, and collections.
• Revenue Accounting: Manage revenue recognition and accounting in compliance with relevant standards and policies.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, encouraging a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Experience in a global or multinational company is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in NetSuite ERP system and sophisticated Excel skills. Solid understanding of US GAAP.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Self-starter, with the ability to work optimally in a fast-paced, multicultural, remote environment. Detail orientated, with strong organizational and project management skills. Work well under deadline pressure.
