A bit about the role…
We are seeking a talented and motivated Mobile Application Developer with a strong background in Flutter, React, and TypeScript to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative features and designs to life, focusing on performance, scalability, and user experience.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Educational Background: You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: You have over 5+ years of proven experience developing high-performance, industry-standard mobile applications for Android and/or iOS. Experience with both platforms is preferred, using FLUTTER or a similar multi-platform framework.
- Quality Focus: You prioritize testing and are deeply committed to quality assurance. You are familiar with advanced testing methodologies and tools for mobile applications.
- Problem-Solving Skills: You possess excellent problem-solving abilities and thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Product Experience: You have worked on products involving video streaming.
Bonus if you…
- Have working knowledge of Dart, React, TypeScript, and Native Android or iOS.
- Leadership Experience: You have team lead or project lead experience.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;
- Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;
- Be willing to comply with Solink’s own security policies and standards.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Lead and develop cross platform widgets using Flutter to integrate with existing native mobile and web applications.
- Lead, develop, and maintain existing Native Android and iOS applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers and dev team members to imagine, define, design, and ship new features.
- Seek customer feedback and report on customer experience to enhance development and drive improvements in application performance.
- Test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Strong domain ownership in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards and practices and support and mentor other developers.
