About you:
You are an experienced professional with a systems level approach to security. Ideally you have a background in aerospace or defense, and are well-versed with automation. You take full ownership of deliverables, and will work across all departments to identify gaps and vulnerabilities in order to implement effective solutions and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key stakeholder to work with system engineers and developers across programs to ensure cybersecurity processes and deliverables are met.
- Implement processes and tools to secure organizational assets and data.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis to identify and remediate security threats.
- Automate and standardize controls and processes to reduce overhead on IT, DevOps, and software teams.
- Prepare Merlin for classified processing by establishing information systems and applicable controls.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Computer Science or related field
- 3-5+ years experience securing information systems from development to enterprise.
- Strong foundation in computer science, software engineering, and automation fundamentals, including Ansible, Python, and Powershell.
- Good understanding of network security including firewalls, VPNs, and segmentation.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and tools for application security (static/dynamic code analysis).
Nice to Haves:
- DevSecOps background with experience in AWS/Azure.
- Have referenced 800-53 to secure information systems for IATT/ATO.
- Experience contributing to system architecture design and development especially in avionics.
