Corporate Controller


Iterative Health is a healthcare technology and services company on a mission to advance gastrointestinal care through relentless innovation. With deep expertise in artificial intelligence and clinical research, we empower healthcare professionals to provide consistently high-quality colorectal cancer screenings and support clinical research teams and study sponsors to expand and accelerate patient access to novel therapeutics.
We are growing our team and looking to add a seasoned Controller to lead a team of 3 and set up the financial infrastructure within a growing and maturing private company. The Controller will run Iterative Health’s day to day accounting activities, and will be expected to build consensus and drive decision making through regularly interfacing with leaders across the company. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in using their prior experience to build out a best in class accounting function. 

What you’ll be doing:


  • Lead Financial Close & Reporting: Oversee the monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP, while driving process improvements for efficiency as the company scales in size and complexity.
  • Strategic Accounting Leadership: Adapt and scale financial operations in response to the company’s growth and increasing business complexity, positioning the company for long-term success. Act as the in-house expert on revenue recognition, tax considerations, and critical accounting issues, providing guidance to senior leadership while utilizing external experts when necessary.
  • Audit & Treasury Management: Manage the annual audit with an external partner and optimize treasury operations to ensure robust cash flow management, supporting strategic financial goals.
  • Systems Optimization: Drive the continued integration and optimization of our Netsuite system to support our growing business, ensuring scalability and efficiency in financial operations.
  • Internal Partnerships & Acquisition Support: Collaborate with the Corporate Development team on strategic partnerships and acquisitions, ensuring accounting implications are clearly addressed and integrated into contracts and business plans.
  • Board & Leadership Reporting: Regularly present key financial insights and updates to the Board of Directors, providing transparency on financial health, strategy, and operational performance.

Required skills:


  • 10+ years of progressive experience in public accounting, with at least 5 years at a Big 4 accounting firm
  • Deep knowledge of corporate accounting best practices including an advanced level understanding of revenue recognition rules
  • Excellent interpersonal skill, able to clearly and consistently communicate with senior leaders of the company
  • Skilled at enforcing budgets and maintaining tight financial controls across business units, products, and subsidiaries

Preferred skills:


  • Prior experience building out infrastructure and tools for a maturing organization
  • Experience with international subsidiaries (in the EU)
  • Familiarity with NetSuite
