We are looking for a skilled AS400/RPG Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of critical business applications. In this role, you will work with legacy systems and ensure that they continue to meet the needs of the business. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing applications, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring system performance. Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize applications on the IBM iSeries (AS400) using RPG, RPG IV, and RPG Free.
- Work with DB2/400 to manage databases and optimize SQL queries.
- Write and maintain CL scripts for system automation and job management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure smooth system performance.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate legacy systems with modern technologies.
Requirements
- Experience with IBM iSeries (AS400) and RPG (RPG IV, RPG Free, RPG ILE).
- Strong knowledge of DB2/400 and SQL query optimization.
- Proficiency in CL (Control Language) scripting.
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain legacy applications.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
