We are looking for a well-rounded, consumer-focused communications professional with 2-4 years of experience to join our award-winning team, working on national brands you recognize and love. This individual will have experience working in an agency setting in an earned media role, as well as experience with or an interest in social media and influencer work. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across channels and expand your integrated expertise in a hands-on manner with access to myriad opportunities for growth.
Consumer brands experience necessary. Experience with food and beverage brands is a plus.This position requires strong creative writing and analytical skills for the development of program plans, pitches, press releases, presentations, backgrounders, briefing documents and social media content. The right candidate can masterfully identify appropriate media targets and oversee the development of media lists to ensure client coverage. Ideally, you may have existing relationships with editors, writers and contributors at consumer media outlets – and strive to develop new relationships on behalf of the firm and clients, pitching new story ideas to generate media coverage. You love to think creatively to develop brand content and campaigns that resonate with clients, consumers and media. You are passionate about the latest trends and look to share the latest industry news, topics and issues with teams to inspire creativity.
Additionally, you view earned media with an integrated approach and have experience or an appetite to learn more about integrated channels including influencer marketing and social media content creation. This exciting role will also allow you to contribute to strategic planning and execution of consumer activations and events, flexing your strong project management skills and an enthusiasm for educating and interacting on-the-ground with consumers and media.The ideal candidate will also be interested in and excited by identifying the latest social media and influencer trends. Previous experience collaborating with influencers on content partnerships and/or leveraging influencer identification tools is preferred. You will be part of a team that develops and executes innovative, fully-integrated programs for a broad range of consumer brands that help drive awareness and influence audiences across all channels. Your strong organizational skills, time management, and collaboration skills will be critical for success. - You have established a strong grasp of (and relationships with) the key reporters and influencers within your clients’ sector(s). Your media contacts can count on you to send them unique, personalized, and memorable pitches.
- You have executed successful media relations, influencer and social communications programs for your clients, delivering results that drive measurable business impact.
- You have developed detailed program reports and recaps that leverage insights and metrics to show impact, opportunities, and growth.
- You are a trusted resource for clients, regularly presenting updates on client calls and overseeing the development of comprehensive agendas and recaps for all client status calls.
- You’re able to work on multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality output and a sense of humor that fosters a collaborative environment.
- With minimal oversight from senior leadership, you field questions from Associates, advising on their project management skills and supporting the prioritization of their day-to-day work, counseling up when they need additional support.
- You have independently developed creative client-ready content that illustrates your understanding of the client’s brand/product, their business needs and the current media and social environment. You’ve picked up on your client’s preferences and brand voice and can anticipate feedback they’ll share.
- You have sought to create award-winning work for every client, constantly pushing the creative boundaries.

- You've successfully executed influencer campaigns that saw high engagement and strong results.
- You are on the pulse of industry trends and often share interesting PR and marketing examples with the team to inspire creative programming.
