PCMI (Policy Claim Management International) is a fast-growing, leading provider of integrated software for Extended Warranty Management and Finance and Insurance (F&I) administration. We are a SaaS company that operates in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. Our 3 teams located in the US, Poland, and Thailand work collaboratively around the clock to build our PCRS platform that automates the full administration lifecycle of all extended warranties, F&I products, and service contracts for our customers.
What You’ll Do
The controller is a senior financial professional responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's accounting functions, including managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations, monitoring internal controls, analyzing financial data, and directing the accounting team to produce accurate financial statements. In this role, you will:
- Being the key owner of PCMI’s historical financials ensuring their accuracy and completeness, overseeing core accounting and operational activities, month/quarter end close processes, general ledger controllership, monthly variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and other relevant responsibilities.
- Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly financial performance analysis.
- Oversee day-to-day operational accounting needs including projected revenue, billing rates, cross-departmental synergies, and contracts, MSA’s, & SOW’s.
- Leading a team of 3+, including the accounting function of Polish subsidiary
- Drive the strategy and journey of change within these teams, influencing the structure and processes to be best in class for a maturing finance function
- Create and implement plans to enhance and reduce the timeline of the monthly close process, building net new future state processes and reporting.
- Champion automation and efficiency across the accounting team to scale with PCMI’s growth, bringing a fresh perspective on what best-in-class looks like.
- Continue to evaluate, develop, implement, and maintain a system of robust internal control policies and procedures across the accounting organization as well as its upstream dependencies.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and achieve all Accounting, Finance, and Company-level goals.
- Coordinate and manage annual audits and tax filings, working closely with external auditors and tax advisors.
What You’ll Need to Join Our Team
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent work experience.
- CPA license.
- Prior experience working in a multi-entity environment.
- Extensive experience in Accounting, ideally as an Assistant Controller / Controller in a private-equity-backed US tech company, enterprise SaaS experience.
- Proven success in accelerating month-end close timelines and evolving processes to meet best-in-class company requirements and a robust control environment.
- Exposure to global accounting operations and activities, finance ERPs such as Netsuite, and other associated finance systems.
