We are committed to prioritizing food safety, we are passionate about product quality, we value our employees, we champion the best idea no matter where it comes from, and we’re committed to making an overall positive impact as we scale. About this Role:Farmer’s Fridge is hiring a Senior Director of HR to lead and oversee the development, implementation, and management of our HR strategies, policies, programs, and processes.

Reporting to the CFO, this role has a broad impact across all functions and levels as FF continues to grow across the country. Effective leadership of HR personnel and management of the overall department is essential to ensure the company's HR operations support the organization's goals and foster a thriving workplace culture. The ideal candidate has a broad skill set and a “get it done” philosophy to be an asset and collaborator for a growing team. Success in the role requires the ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality results.Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Own the full HR function for a diverse, nationally based workforce of salary and hourly team members
  • Develop and implement the organization’s people strategy to align with its mission, vision, and values
  • Partner with executive leadership to ensure HR strategies support business goals and drive organizational success
  • Guide employees of all levels through various HR topics including workforce planning, organizational design, employee relations, and performance management
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommend best practices; review policies to maintain compliance
  • Leverage HR metrics to drive continuous improvement and efficient operations in HR systems, processes, and tools
  • Oversee recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent
  • Foster a positive workplace culture that aligns with the organization’s values and promotes collaboration, innovation, and employee satisfaction
  • Lead efforts to create a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace
  • Design and oversee competitive compensation structures and benefits programs to attract and retain employees
  • Develop and manage a best-in-class HR team

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in an HR role
  • 5+ years managing an HR team and/or in a supervisory role
  • Certification or degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional HR certification (i.e., SHRM, HCI)
  • Proven expertise with HRIS/Payroll software systems (preferably UKG!), including payroll processing
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations across multiple states (FF operates in 18 states and growing!)
  • Data-driven approach to setting and achieving goals
  • Highly effective cross-functional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels within the organization
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • A commitment to fostering a culture of support and accountability
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and flexibility to adjust plans as needed; prior high growth experience strongly preferred
