Occupational Therapist: 2024-2025 School Year

This position involves working across multiple districts, serving students from early childhood through high school.

Location:
Gages Lake
Hours:
Full-Time, with flexibility within the standard hours of 8:00 am-3:30 pm.
Occupational Therapist Duties:
- Complete evaluations to assess occupational needs and areas of growth.
- Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students.
- Assist case managers with developing student Individualized Education Plans (IEP).
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and classroom teachers to meet the students’ occupational therapy needs.
- Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans.
- Facilitate staff and community training in the area of occupational therapy and related disorders.
Occupational Therapist Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- IDFPR license is eligible in the state of Illinois.
- Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois.
- Preferred experience in a K-12 setting.
