RequirementsWe are looking for a highly skilled Senior Network and Cybersecurity Engineer to assess and strengthen the security and resilience of networks and systems supporting U.S. government and military missions. In this role, you’ll go beyond identifying vulnerabilities—you’ll provide actionable solutions to safeguard critical systems from potential threats.
What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate operational and developmental networks and systems, identifying weaknesses and vulnerabilities to network attacks.
- Provide expert recommendations on countermeasures, such as configuring commercial products, implementing hardware or software solutions, and adhering to security best practices.
- Analyze systems architecture, conduct vulnerability assessments, and apply programming and scripting skills to enhance security measures.
- Deliver clear, concise briefings and comprehensive evaluation reports to customers, equipping them to enhance their network defenses.
- Work collaboratively to address complex security challenges while maintaining a proactive approach to threat mitigation.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Candidates should have at least an Associate’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience, plus in-depth expertise or 18+ semester hours of military coursework or training in networking, computer science, or cybersecurity. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience, a Master’s degree with 6 years, or a Doctoral degree with 4 years of relevant experience is also acceptable.
- Relevant Experience:
- Cybersecurity, network security, vulnerability analysis, reverse engineering, malware analysis, protocol and network analysis, programming, debugging, or working with diagnostic tools like SNORT or traceroute.
- Preferred:
- Leadership experience.
- Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISA, or ISSEP.

Overtime is not guaranteed for this position. The anticipated pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $165,000.00 USD.
