GXM is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Knowledge Manager III to join our team. Our team is looking to welcome an experienced technical professional to work in support of GXM projects for government clients in the Fort Meade, MD area and in support of company-level efforts across project teams.The Knowledge Manager III manages Knowledge Management, including monitoring and measuring the application of KM using metrics linked to project goals and objectives, to make sure that project teams are delivering on their accountabilities and applying the DEE and knowledge bases in accordance with instructions, to identify the need for improvements to the DEE or knowledge bases, and to ensure Continual Improvement to manage strategic knowledge.
They have prior experience advising KM Teams on projects on waivers or exceptions to KM Plans and resolving conflicts between KM reference material and new requirements for KM training. The Knowledge Manager III collaborates with various departments to develop and enhance Knowledge Management processes. They have strong communication and leadership and remain up to date with industry trends and best practices in Knowledge Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and measure the application of Knowledge Management using metrics tied to project goals and objectives.
- Ensure project teams deliver on KM accountabilities and apply Digital Enterprise Environment (DEE) and knowledge bases in accordance with established instructions.
- Identify and implement improvements to the DEE or knowledge bases for continual strategic knowledge enhancement.
- Advise KM teams on waivers, exceptions to KM Plans, and conflict resolution between KM reference materials and new training requirements.
- Collaborate with various departments to develop, refine, and enforce Knowledge Management processes.
- Develop policies, procedures, and governance for Document Management Control, Records Management, Online Library Management, and other related KM areas.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to enhance KM strategies.
Requirements
- Must be US Citizen
- TS/SCI required; CI Poly desired
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Knowledge Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), Library and Information Science, or related Business, Education, or IT disciplines.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in developing policies, procedures, and governance in areas such as Document Management Control, Records Management, Knowledge Management, or Online Library Management.
- Proven ability to monitor KM applications and recommend improvements based on metrics and analysis.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience resolving KM-related conflicts and aligning training requirements with reference materials.
- Knowledge of trends and advancements in Knowledge Management practices and technology.
