The Sr. Business Partner will perform People and Culture functions for a team of150 employees, ensuring alignment with business goals while fostering a positive,inclusive workplace culture. This role includes responsibility for talent acquisition,employee relations, performance management, organizational development, andcompliance with employment laws. The HR Business partner will partner with leadershipto execute people strategies that support company growth and employee success.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with managers to define job requirements and attract top talent aligned with organizational needs and values.
- Design and implement a talent acquisition strategy to meet immediate and long-term hiring goals.
- Maintains knowledge of industry trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions, fostering a compliant and productive workplace.
- Oversee performance improvement plans (PIPs) and support leadership with performance evaluations and goal setting.
- Conduct thorough, objective investigations and provide resolutions to complex employee issues.
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Advise management on equal employment opportunity, anti-harassment policies, and other compliance matters.
- Design and deliver training and development programs to support employee growth and leadership development.
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention.
- Promote an inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.
- Research and recommend competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Utilize HR metrics to monitor workforce trends, assess employee engagement, and improve HR processes.
- Partner with leadership to optimize organizational structure, workflows, and processes to support strategic objectives.
- Promote health and safety awareness and implement initiatives to prioritize employee wellbeing.
Requirements
- Proven HR experience (5+ years), with a strong background in recruitment, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Expertise in HR processes, employment law, and compliance.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Data-driven, with the ability to analyze metrics and implement improvements.
