Job Description
- Oversee the management and optimization of all IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS infrastructure to ensure it meets the needs of the business.
- Implement and manage monitoring tools to ensure high performance and availability of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS products.
- Develop and implement the global IT Infrastructure strategy to ensure alignment of IT initiatives with business goals.
- Manage and optimize Microsoft licenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance.
- Oversee both on-premises and cloud infrastructure in a hybrid environment, with a focus on transitioning to a cloud-only strategy.
- Direct and improve incident management processes to rapidly resolve operational issues and restore services.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and data protection regulations.
- Work closely with Engineering to ensure that changes are deployed into Production with precision and quality.
- Develop and control the budget for Cloud Infrastructure ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
- Ensure Cloud infrastructure complies with relevant security standards and data protection regulations.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure favorable terms and high-quality services.
- Oversee IT Infrastructure budgetd, resource allocation, and vendor management.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL and GAMP standards.
- Lead IT transformation projects, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with the CISO to ensure infrastructure security aligns with security standards.
- Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure on platforms like Azure , AWS or GCP
- Support business units to meet all business needs
- Automate cloud resource provisioning, configuration management, and deployments using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Implement security best practices for cloud and infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and product managers, to ensure infrastructure aligns with business requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Extensive IT Infrastructure and Operations Experience: At least 10 years in IT Infrastructure/Operations with a strong focus on software as a service (SaaS) environment.
- At least 5 years in IT in Pharma or Healthcare industry
- Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role managing IT or CloudOps teams, with a proven track record in successfully scaling operations.
- Azure Cloud Experience: 5+ years of experience in designing, supporting, and optimizing Azure cloud environments
- Vendor Management Skills: Skills in managing relationships with software vendors, cloud service providers, and other technology partners.
