Job Title: Corporate Inventory Control ManagerCompany: Lonestar Electric SupplyLocation: TexasJob Type: Full-timeEEO Category: ProfessionalsVETERANS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLYWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Inventory Control Manager to join our team at Lonestar Electrical Supply’s corporate office. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing inventory processes across all branches while partnering with branch Inventory Control Managers to ensure company-wide inventory accuracy and efficiency.
You will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations and serve as a critical link between corporate operations and branch inventory teams.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and enforce company-wide inventory management policies and standards.• Collaborate with branch Inventory Control Managers to maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure stock availability to meet customer demands.• Monitor and analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions to optimize stock levels.• Lead regular cycle counts and audits at the corporate and branch levels to ensure accuracy in reported quantities and locations.• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory reports, working closely with branch teams to implement solutions.• Provide training, guidance, and support to branch Inventory Control Managers to improve consistency and compliance with company policies.• Partner with the SVP of Operations and other corporate leaders to strategize and implement process improvements.• Utilize inventory management software and Microsoft Excel to track performance metrics, generate reports, and share actionable insights with stakeholders.• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote safe work practices across all inventory control processes.• Manage vendor relationships to optimize delivery schedules and ensure timely placement and receipt of orders.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a related field preferred.• 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a multi-location or corporate environment.• Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across departments effectively.• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software; experience with ERP systems is a plus.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and guide others.• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.• Ability to travel to branch locations as needed.• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a distribution or warehouse environment.
