Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking an Application Developer to work for our company.

Summary:


  • Must have an active U.S. Government SECRET/IT-II Clearance (Sponsorship will not be provided)
  • Consolidate and manage IT Sustainment/Customer Support and IT Cyber & RMF Management tasks.
  • Provide direction, guidance, and technical support to application users.
  • Support mission-critical Oracle databases and Application Web Site.
  • Implement and configure Firewall Rules, network components, and resolve security issues.
  • Conduct WebInspect scans, remediation, and manage POA&M processes.
  • Develop and maintain threat models to enhance cybersecurity posture.
  • Monitor, update configurations, and patch Oracle WebLogic Application Server.
  • Utilize data visualization tools like Qlik and SAS for reporting and analysis.
  • Manage Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) activities and prepare data for database loading.
  • Perform application log auditing and collection using tools such as ArcSight or Splunk.
  • Maintain compliance with Section 508 requirements and validate with tools like Axe.
  • Design and maintain documentation related to RMF, including ACAS Scans and RMF Controls.
  • Provide continuous updates and patching for supported application and developer tools.
  • Utilize design tools such as Visio for creating and maintaining system architecture diagrams.
  • Must be willing and able to work during Eastern Standard Time business hours.

Requirements:


  • Must have an active U.S. Government SECRET/IT-II Clearance (Sponsorship will not be provided)
  • Must have one of the following certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+,GICSP, GSEC, CompTIA Security+ CE, SSCP, CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH.
  • Must have 5+ years of progressive experience in the field of Information Technology involving a range of hardware/software experience.
  • Must have 4+ years of hands-on experience in software installation, configuration, maintenance, and issue resolution
  • Must have 2+ years of experience with IA Controls (DODI 8500.2 or NIST SP 800-53) and understanding of RMF principles.
  • Must be proficient in Java, WebLogic configurations, Linux Shell scripting, C#, HTML/JavaScript.
  • Must have working knowledge of Oracle WebLogic, Oracle BI Platform, RHEL, JDeveloper, SQL Developer, TOAD, and Eclipse Client.
  • Should be familiar with eMASS, ArcSight, Splunk, CyberSwat, and related RMF Documentation.
  • Must have the ability to develop threat models and implement cybersecurity measures.
  • Must have knowledge of data visualization software (Qlik, SAS) and ETL processes.
  • Must have previous experience with Section 508 compliance and related validation tools.
  • Must be proficient in using design tools like Visio for system documentation.
  • Must have strong skills implementing and configuring networks and network components.
  • Must have strong skills managing, implementing, and configuring Firewall Rules.
  • Must have a relevant Computing Environment certification upon assignment.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving security issues.
