We’re unapologetically ambitious! We are looking for a Senior Manager, Talent Partnerships to join the Translation team!

What You'll Do


  • Conduct expert level outreach, negotiation and contracting with celebrities, influencers, athletes, music artists, etc.
  • Facilitate best in class, celebrity/tier 1 talent brand engagements utilizing your extensive and key contacts in the industry.
  • Oversee talent content strategy, development, long range planning, and execution from start to finish of campaign.
  • Maintain fundamental relationships with internal business partners across account/client services, strategy, creative, production, legal and finance, etc.
  • Maintain key relationships with external business partners at brands, agencies, labels and management groups.
  • Work with Talent to manage and execute contractual assets (e.g. appearances, social posts) as part of their branded contractual obligations.
  • On-site talent management at content shoots, enterprise events, client stage events, etc.
  • Create and present Client-facing decks and casting trackers featuring both UnitedMasters and external Talent.
  • Oversee operational functions such as talent payments, database upkeep, project tracking, contract archiving, etc.
  • Support the Talent Partnerships team with department management functions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  • Proven, strong, industry relationships with talent agencies, publicists, PR reps, and managers
  • Familiar knowledge of tier 1 talent, including influencers, artists and athletes and recommend them for brand partnerships.
  • Proven track record of negotiating and executing effective talent buying for talent and/or brand partnerships 
  • Create, review and evaluate pitch decks
  • Deal memo and contract longform drafting, review and redlining
  • Ability to drive talent creative ideation
  • Identifying budding influencers, industry trends and mainstays
  • Ability to present and pitch talent partnerships to clients
  • Strong collaboration, communication and written skills

Minimum Qualifications


  • 8+ years of relevant experience within talent relations, brand partnerships or similar functions at an advertising agency, music label, talent agency, media outlet, creative agency or similar environment
  • Extensive experience with brand partnerships and branded content functions.
  • Deep contract knowledge and understanding of legalities for traditional and non-traditional creative marketing
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A proven track record of identifying and securing top talent

Preferred Qualifications


  • Ad agency experience
  • Basic knowledge of SAG-AFTRA
  • Knowledge of Marketing, Sports Leagues, Gaming, Social Media platforms and Music Industry landscape a plus 
  • Advertising agency, brand partnerships and/or branded content experience

Salary Hiring Range:


$102,000 - $120,000Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide (e.g. bonus, stock options, 401(k) match, etc.)Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.  We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors. The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description, however we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted.  If that ends up being the case, the updated salary range will be communicated with you as a candidate.The salary range above is for the NY/CA.  As a company, we have a location based strategy, which means the salary range could be lower or higher than this if the role is hired in another location.#LI-HYBRID
