We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team.  The HR Generalist will provide essential support to all HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. This role will ensure the effective implementation of HR policies and programs, contributing to a positive workplace culture and the overall satisfaction of our employees.The primary workplace for this position is Aechelon Technology’s South San Francisco Headquarters.United States citizenship required due to restrictions on access to certain data.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling and performing interviews.Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and integration support.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and queries, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.Assist in conducting employee engagement initiatives and resolving employee issues in alignment with company policies.
  • Benefits Administration:
  • Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.Assist employees with benefits inquiries and support annual enrollment processes.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Maintain accurate employee records, tracking required documentation for compliance and audits.
  • HR Policies & Procedures:
  • Assist in developing, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures.Support training initiatives to ensure employees understand HR policies and adhere to best practices.
  • Office Management Assistance:
  • Support office management activities, including ordering supplies, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring a functional office environment.Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar.
  • Knowledge of HR functions, employment laws, and office management best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office suite.

  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

$102,000 - $107,000 a yearThe above range is specific to CALIFORNIA and may not be applicable to other locations. The pay scale for this role is between $102,000 - $107,000. Final compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.This position description is not intended to be a complete listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee holding this position.
