  • Regular attendance 

  • Must be able to perform essential functions and meet minimum work standards with, or without accommodation.

  • Must follow established quality and safety standards. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

Essential Functions:

  • Pre-employment drug screens, new hire orientation and training to foster a positive attitude toward the company.
  • Perform OSHA training for all employees (DuBois locations).
  • Data entry into spreadsheets (including but not limited to new hire information, pay changes, disciplinary notes, etc.)
  • Coordination of the Employee of the Month Program and monthly birthday snacks.
  • Assist with safety committee.
  • Prepare 90-day reviews monthly along with benefit packets.
  • Schedule interviews for both production and non-production openings.Reference checks and testing on all possible candidates.
  • Employment verifications.Assist with issues with the vending company (contact).
  • Coordinate temporary staffing needs.
  • Coordination of exit interviews with employees who are leaving the company.Communicate all new policies and information to employees via posters, memos, etc.
  • Represent company at Job Fairs, luncheons and other community functions.Monthly distribution of HR updates and information to company supervisors.Assist with employees / supervisors with any questions regarding policies, insurance, etc.
  • Assist supervisors with disciplines and terminations (witness and document meetings)
  • Complete absence reports for supervisor’s approval.
  • Coordination of Hepatitis B shots and tracking.
  • Create and distribute weekly divisional newsletter​

  • Assist in scheduling company social functions (summer picnic, Christmas party, service awards).
  • Answer the phone and sort incoming / outgoing mail.
  • Send out thank you letters for interviews.
  • Assist with worker compensation process as needed.
  • Special projects as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned, including some operational data entry, supporting business metrics, approximately 1 hour/day.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Outgoing personality, excellent people skills.

  • Able to show initiative and to function in an independent work environment.

  • Computer literacy.

  • One year office/HR experience.

  • Able to maintain confidentiality.
