IntelliTrans, (ITL), a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ROP) is seeking a Group Product Manager within Truck TMS to join our team remote EST/CST, or hybrid based out of our Atlanta, GA office.
Job Summary:
IntelliTrans provides multi-modal transportation management solutions for rail, truck, intermodal, and marine freight. They specialize in freight visibility, shipment execution, and analytics, helping shippers reduce costs and improve efficiency. Their solutions combine technology and logistics experience, serving industries like manufacturing, agriculture, energy, and chemicals.The Group Product Manager is responsible for defining short, medium, and long-term product roadmaps based on industry knowledge and competitive analysis, defining discrete features and functionality, and developing value propositions and business cases for product initiatives.
This role focuses on strategic planning, product roadmaps, requirements gathering, market positioning, and product launches.GPM will drive commercialization and collaborate across R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to deliver customer-focused solutions. GPM is expected to support the sales process through engagement with prospective customers during the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business goals, market trends, and customer needs. Develop and maintain the product roadmap, conducting build vs. buy vs. partner analyses to guide investment decisions.
- Market and Customer Analysis: Perform market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback collection to identify new opportunities and trends. Engage with customers (VoC, site visits, pre-sales) to understand and define market needs.
- Product Roadmap Management: Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Support, Sales, and Marketing to develop and prioritize the product roadmap. Present roadmap updates to senior leadership and customers.
- Product Development Lifecycle: Oversee product development from concept to launch and beyond, ensuring features meet implementation needs. Partner with PMO and Engineering for timely, high-quality delivery and ensure cross-functional readiness and documentation.
- Customer Engagement: Build strong client relationships by gathering feedback and addressing needs, acting as a trusted advisor. Partner closely with the CSM & Ops teams to drive higher customer loyalty.
- Go to Market Execution: Partner with Go-to-Market teams on product launches, supporting Sales and Customer Success with demos and materials. Develop marketing collateral and lead enablement sessions for internal teams.
- Product line Financial Performance: Collaborate on pricing strategies, monitor profitability, and drive revenue and growth targets. Evaluate and develop new product /services revenue models.
- Industry Thought Leadership: Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies, sharing insights within the organization. Attend conferences and events for competitor and market analysis.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor Product Managers and Business Analysts, fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's in science, Engineering, or Business; MBA Highly Desired
Work Experience:
- Industry Expertise - 10+ years managing SaaS products in TMS or freight/logistics.
- Deep experience in trucking is crucial - ranging from Bulk/ Break bulk LTL, FL Parcel, Refrigerated, Flat bed, Heavy haul etc. Good knowledge of other modes (rail / ocean)
- Specialized experience in building solutions such as route, load management, RFQ, Tendering, etc. will set the candidate apart.
- Strategic and Business Acumen – Strong understanding of SaaS business models, pricing, revenue models & customer retention strategies
- Enterprise SaaS Product Development experience in B2B environments. Experience working with Agile and Scrum Development models
- Data & Integration Skills- Familiarity with APIs, system integrations with other ERP and CRM systems and cloud platforms helpful. Hands on Data analysis skills (Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
- Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises work of others (PM, POs, BAs, Analysts) in the Product Management organization. Responsible for hiring, performance evaluations, development plans, and engagement.
