We are seeking a Budget Analyst that thrives in a fast-paced environment to provide direct support to our government customer. In this rapidly changing environment, you will need to demonstrate strong time management skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritize to meet business deadlines. This role requires the highest level of professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, exceptional written skills, analytical skills (data analysis and research), and a strong attention to detail. In support of our government customer, a comprehensive knowledge and experience in budget formulation and execution, and Department of Defense (DoD) appropriations are necessary.
The primary responsibilities of this role include, but not limited to managing established operating budgets; tracking receipt and execution of various funding to maintain compliance with Department of Army goals; tracking and confirming labor requirements and funds; generating support agreement to send or receive funds; monitoring budget levels to ensure legal/efficient use of funding; performing administration work involving the monitoring of obligations incurred and the actual expenditures; performing budget formulation involving preparation of detailed analyses of annual and/or multi-year budget estimates; and providing advice, assistance, and guidance on budgeting related information.
Required
- BS or BA degree
- 3 years direct, relevant experience in DoD budgeting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
- Must have an in-scope Secret security clearance
