Job Responsibilities:


  • Reconcile high-volume client and sub-client accounts daily, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between various data sources, including internal systems, bank statements, and client records.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues.
  • Develop and maintain efficient reconciliation processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve reconciliation issues and improve data accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive reconciliation reports and documentation.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to account reconciliation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance operations processes.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a finance operations role with a focus on account reconciliation.
  • Proven experience working with large and complex datasets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
  • Experience with reconciliation software and ERP systems, such as Netsuite or other cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the financial services or high-volume retail industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SQL or other data query languages is preferred.
