Job Description for FEMA Project Delivery Manager (PDMG)
Position Overview:
iParametrics is seeking experienced professionals to serve as Project Delivery Managers (PDMGs) for FEMA disaster recovery operations. PDMGs play a critical role in managing disaster recovery projects, ensuring compliance with FEMA Public Assistance (PA) guidelines, and facilitating communication between FEMA, applicants, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for disaster recovery projects, working closely with applicants and FEMA staff.
- Conduct site inspections to evaluate disaster damage, including public infrastructure and facilities.
- Develop scopes of work, cost estimates, and project documentation in compliance with FEMA guidelines.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, historical preservation, and hazard mitigation standards.
- Utilize FEMA’s Grants Portal to manage project data, updates, and reporting.
- Coordinate with engineering, environmental, and financial teams to address project requirements and obstacles.
- Provide regular updates and recommendations to applicants and FEMA leadership.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in disaster recovery or emergency management.
- Familiarity with FEMA Public Assistance (PA) programs, policies, and regulations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Project, FEMA’s Grants Portal, Xactimate, or similar platforms.
- FEMA certifications such as IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800, and IS-1014 (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional experience in civil engineering, environmental science, or construction management.
- Certifications in project management (PMP), cost estimating (CE), or GIS analysis.
- Experience with federal grant management and financial oversight.
