GMLx is driven to exceed customer expectations by continuously innovating and improving the skills and resources required to be the most dependable and customer focused 3PL provider in healthcare.Program Description:The summer intern hired for this position should expect to learn all facets of logistics, warehousing, distribution, inventory management, superior customer service and will leave this position with invaluable skills and medical device industry knowledge. Participants are given an opportunity to gain valuable corporate and industry learning experience within our operations department through a project determined by each division.

Projects vary for each intern assignment depending on the needs of the department, and each will provide theintern with both meaningful and relevant work experience. The internship program is designed as an eight- week commitment. An assigned host / mentor will help guide the intern through the experience. Interns will be asked to conduct a presentation at the end of the summer outlining their internship experience. Through this program the intern should accomplish, amongst many things, several high-level skills that they will be able to use within any industry which you choose to pursue.Program Objectives:• Develop a cohesive working relationship with your colleagues as you partner on various tasks that are assigned as team members.• Understand the direct business contributions that your role as an individual contributor, and as a department, has in the overall company’s success.• Learn and develop a comprehensive understanding of the various products and logistics processes that drive our market within the sales capacity.• Develop strong Project Management skills through team building exercises.• Gain insight and training with the required software and tracking systems utilized.• Gain knowledge of device safety and efficiency protocol/recall processes.• Understand the difference we make in the lives of patients and consumers.RequirementsRequirements:· Candidates must be a rising college Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or rising Senior in good academic standing (3.0 GPA or higher).· Able to commute daily to the assigned office / warehouse for the 8-week summer program.

Relocation assistance is not available. Selected student(s) will be responsible for their own lodging & meals.Desired Skills:· Highly developed communication (written and verbal) skills.· Works with a sense of urgency, able & willing to go above & beyond.Salary Description$15.00 Hr
