In this Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist role, you will play a key part in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier professionals to drive Banyan’s Pakistan Team. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the unique demands of finance, legal, HR, IT and M&A roles, and a demonstrated ability to manage the recruitment process for high-caliber candidates in these fields.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Sourcing & Pipeline Development: Utilize a variety of search methods to source and build a robust candidate pipeline for global business development and M&A roles. Leverage tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and industry-specific platforms to identify top talent.
  • Candidate Screening & Evaluation: Review resumes and applications, conduct detailed phone screenings, and evaluate candidates’ experience and fit for highly specialized roles.
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent Banyan Software and its operating companies globally as an employer of choice, effectively communicating our mission and values to potential candidates.
  • Job Design & Requirements: Collaborate with hiring managers to develop clear job postings, descriptions, and position requirements tailored to the specific needs of business development and M&A functions.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure an outstanding candidate experience with clear communication, prompt feedback, and a seamless recruitment process.
  • Offer Facilitation: Partner with HR, hiring managers, and the Director of Talent Acquisition to craft competitive offers and manage the negotiation process.
  • Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires are integrated effectively and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of global trends in business development, M&A, and talent acquisition. Provide insights to refine recruiting strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all hiring practices comply with employment laws and regulations across various geographies.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Track recruitment activities, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and analyze data to inform strategies and decisions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in talent acquisition projects and programs to drive innovation and enhance processes.

Qualifications for Success:


  • Experience: Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience as a recruiter, with a strong focus on corporate infrastructure, finance or M&A roles. 
  • Interviewing Expertise: Proficient in various interview methods, including structured, behavioral, competency-based, and technical assessments.
  • Assessment Proficiency: Skilled in organizing and interpreting skills assessments (e.g., case studies, psychometric tests, work samples).
  • Tools & Technology: Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Greenhouse is highly preferred. Proficient in leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, market-specific job boards, and sourcing tools.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence candidates and stakeholders.
  • Decision-Making: Strong decision-making skills and a strategic mindset to identify and engage top talent.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Characteristics:


  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for senior-level and highly specialized roles in finance, corporate infrastructure and M&A.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with global operations.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional talent acquisition services and building long-term relationships.

Working Arrangements:

This position is based in an office in Karachi, Pakistan.
