Tempus' proprietary platform connects an entire ecosystem of real-world evidence to deliver real-time, actionable insights to physicians, providing critical information about the right treatments for the right patients, at the right time.We’re looking for a Senior HR Generalist who will be a go-to person for all things related to HR processes and systems. The Senior HR Generalist will manage HR projects, keep our records straight, and make sure our team is up to speed with the latest in HR Operations best practices.

You'll work closely with our HRBPs, the HCM (Workday) Team and other cross-functional team leads to ensure our HR operations are top-notch.

What You'll Do:


  • Champion the optimization of HR systems, including Workday and ServiceNow, to streamline HR operations and elevate operational efficiency and enhance the overall employee experience
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to spearhead projects to integrate HR systems & processes with other business operations, ensuring a cohesive and unified approach
  • Drive continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and updating HR processes to align with evolving business needs
  • Manage the HR Ticketing System (ServiceNow), ensuring efficient management and triage of incoming tickets to the appropriate HR team members or departments for prompt resolution, while maintaining high standards of service and confidentiality
  • Oversee immigration process including acting as a liaison between immigration attorneys and employees; creating documentation to drive forward visa applications while ensuring a positive experience for employees
  • Lead compliance reporting, such as EEO-1, AAP, and VETS-4212 filings, prepare audit reports, and maintain organizational compliance to ensure policies, practices and employee trainings follow federal and state requirements
  • Maintain human resource information system records, ensures timely processing of key HR workflows and compiling reports from the database
  • Maintain a knowledge of progressive HR processes, practices and key trends to provide high level support across the HR Ops function

Qualifications:


  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years HR Operations experience
  • Experience with operationalizing HR processes or implementing new HR systems
  • Experience with project management
  • Proficiency in HR information systems (Workday preferred)
  • Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills to simultaneously manage projects and daily administrative tasks
  • Self-motivated; able to drive and own initiatives
  • Ability to work with diverse, creative, professional people in a fast-paced high growth environment
  • Ability to handle highly confidential data with integrity and professionalism
  • Exhibits a customer service focused attitude and approach

The expected salary range below is applicable if the role is performed from [Illinois] and may vary for other locations. Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience. Tempus offers a full range of benefits, which may include incentive compensation, restricted stock units, medical and other benefits, depending on the position.Illinois Pay Range$70,000—$95,000 USDWe are an equal opportunity employer.
