Position Overview:


The Operations Manager provides leadership, guidance, and direction across operational functions, reporting directly to the Director of Operations. This role manages field inventory, oversees daily operations, and ensures inventory optimization to meet organizational objectives. The Operations Manager is responsible for achieving departmental metrics in Safety, Service, Quality, and Cost while fostering a People First culture. Success in this role demands expertise in managing warehouse operations, strategic inventory planning, and cross-functional team collaboration.

Responsibilities:


· Facilitate team meetings, recognize employee achievements, and ensure customer demands and standard processes are consistently met.· Lead problem-solving initiatives, coach team members, and drive continuous improvement efforts through ongoing training.· Develop and maintain demand-driven inventory models to optimize field inventory management.· Collaborate with sales, operations, logistics, and forecasting teams to ensure consistent inventory flow that meets sales targets within company guidelines.· Design and implement strategies to meet or exceed internal and corporate goals.· Establish and monitor ordering policies and par stocking levels for subsidiary inventory locations.· Oversee product-specific strategies across the supply chain network.· Maintain a clean, well-organized warehouse facility in compliance with OSHA and FDA regulations.· Manage financial operations, including daily transactions, month-end processes, audits, and financial reporting.· Supervise and coordinate all aspects of the order fulfillment process, from purchasing to shipping.· Implement and monitor efficient office processes while ensuring quality standards are met.· Develop staff through cross-functional training, ensuring skill diversity and business continuity.· Promote a culture of excellence by coaching, motivating, and recognizing staff efforts to achieve operational objectives.Requirements

Qualifications:


· Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or a related field.· Five years of relevant experience in operations management.· Strong leadership and analytical problem-solving skills.· Thorough understanding of Safety and OSHA standards.· Proficiency in financial data interpretation for budgeting and forecasting.· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software.· Experience working collaboratively in a matrix environment.· Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.· Six Sigma or Lean experience, preferably in a distribution/warehouse setting.
