Drupal Software Developer 


Precise is seeking Drupal Software Developer. If you are a qualified Software Developer and are interested in challenging environment with opportunity for growth, we would like to meet with you.The candidate needs to have experience with content management systems and experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Candidate should be able to have experience in strong systems, software, cloud, and Agile experience to support a complex program to provide Agile development and operations and maintenance for critical system in support of the program.Position SummaryAs part of the team, you will be part of an exciting ecosystem, participating with federal employees, and other contractors, in a team-based DevOps approach to deliver mission value frequently, cost-effectively, responsively, and with high quality.

In this hands-on position, you will work collaboratively with other companies to architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real time systems. You will exercise your judgment in determining and recommending the best designs based on customer business objectives, timelines and other resource constraints. You will participate in and/or direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing.A qualified candidate must be a USC/GC/EAD and have or can attain a Public Trust clearance.

DOL or FDA experience and/or an existing Public Trust clearance is ideal. Any government agency experience is a plus.

Skills/Requirements


  • Minimum 75% of contribution to issue triage, design, develop, test and deploy in your current and previous experience.
  • Strong experience building web applications in Drupal 9/10, PHP 7/8, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Solid knowledge of web development best practices in relation to web security and accessibility to create high performance websites/pages
  • Experience building and consuming various APIs
  • Strong working experience with version/source control, Git or equivalent
  • Experience supporting Agile projects using JIRA

Additional Skills:


  • Solid understanding of software processes and methodologies and ability to speak intelligently about them
  • Experience with O&M projects and customer support 
  • Experience with DevOps frameworks
  • Knowledge of software design patterns
  • Proficiency with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices
  • Proficiency with Agile management tools such as the Atlassian suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Additional Skills:

Apache Solr, Angular, Spring / Spring Boot, Java, Hibernate, JPA, Mongo or Postgres, Jetty, Microservices, Openshift, Gradle, Maven, Ant, Junit, Bitbucket, Cucumber, SonarQube, CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins, Git, Cloudwatch, Jira, Confluence, Eclipse.

Additional Requirements:


Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, at minimum

Education


Typically requires BS degree and 5 - 7 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 3- 6 years of prior relevant experience
