About the Role:


As a Maintenance Technician I in our Manufacturing industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our South Windsor Plant. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery, as well as troubleshooting and diagnosing issues to minimize downtime. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and communicate effectively with other team members.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in maintenance or related field
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Associate's degree in a technical field
  • Experience with welding and fabrication
  • Experience with electrical and/or mechanical systems
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:


  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery

Skills:


As a Maintenance Technician I, you will utilize your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills on a daily basis. You will need to be proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics, as well as utilizing basic computer skills. Additionally, you will need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have experience with welding and fabrication, electrical and/or mechanical systems, and preventative maintenance programs. Your strong attention to detail and ability to work independently will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our South Windsor Plant. 22 To 30 (USD) Hourly
