This role is critical in ensuring timely payments, managing customer accounts, and maintaining smooth financial operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable, collections, and customer service, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.Responsibilities:
- Post daily payments to NetSuite with accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage collections by emailing and making phone calls to address past-due invoices.
- Forecast weekly incoming payments to support financial planning and cash flow management.
- Participate in daily collection meetings with the Head of Collections for Cargomatic.
- Distribute aging reports to customers and follow up as needed.
- Serve as a customer service representative for resolving disputed invoices.
- Issue credit memos in NetSuite as required.
- Conduct credit checks for new customers and complete credit reference requests for existing customers.
- Assist with scanning and emailing customer invoices when necessary.
- Gather and input data into AS400, and verify accuracy of valuable company information.
- Calculate and process monthly commissions for the Warehouse Manager.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage customer relationships effectively.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a similar financial role.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in logistics, warehousing, or transportation industries is a plus.The expected salary range for this role is $40,000 to $50,000. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
