JOB SUMMARY:
To promote the mission of PATH to help individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life by coordinating facility-based operations and oversee completion of tasks. Maintain records of services completed and make suggestions for repairs/improvement. Oversee the completion of minor facility repairs and purchases. Complete administrative tasks assigned by Facilities Director. Delegate and monitor tasks to Maintenance Technicians. Provide guidance, leadership, and growth to those you supervise.
Position requires extensive travel primarily in Northeast Philadelphia, use of personal vehicle. Mileage reimbursement provided. Possess excellent interpersonal skills and represent the agency in a positive manner at all times. Maintain flexibility with scheduled hours to provided additional support as needed some evenings/weekend, days may be required and on call support. Be attentive to specific needs of individuals with special needs.
CREDENTIALING AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Diploma/GED, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree Previous Experience/Work History: 5 years facilities experience, background in supervision, use of computer programs such as Word, and Excel in completion of job duties preferred. Experience in using Facility Management Software. A valid Driver’s License is required Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Execute tasks as assigned by Facilities Director and/or COOReports to Facilities DirectorMaintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance ordersAssist in managing over 65 propertiesSupervise Facilities Technicians and Custodial Workers.Coordinate and set up staff schedules to ensure proper coverage.Conduct fire drills and maintain all necessary records as required for licensing.Inspect facilities for safety, cleanliness, security, and compliance.Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace are implemented, including collaborating with security system vendors, Information Technology Department or a team of security professionalsConduct inspections and maintenance of mechanical equipment atall propertiesCreate reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff to review and make recommendationsOngoing collaboration with Program Supervisors for the upkeeping of properties, this may include recommending necessary repair and maintenance requestMonitor inventory and order supplies as needed for Facilities and Housekeeping FunctionsMaintain records and files of work completedIdentify repairs/remodelsDelegate tasks utilizing the ticket systemManage roster of contractorsComplete all necessary CARF Emergency Evacuation Reports and Health and Safety Inspections.Responsible for all HUD physical site responsibilities including HUD REAC Inspections.Collaborate with the Fiscal Department on all HUD Related activities and program managementOrganize/attend meetings as necessaryAssure proper coverage of main campusesProvide updates of all work delays or completionsSupport in the Safety CommitteeSupport Facilities Director as needed to executive an effective Facility Management ProgramMaintain AED devicesOther Facility and Housekeeping related responsibilities as needed.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
