Job Overview


:This position reports to the Senior Manager of Data and Analytics and serves as a data storyteller, analyzing data to provide insights that drive value and revenue for the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) channel. The role involves working closely with internal teams and clients to define, develop, and implement data analytics requirements. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing product performance through website, marketing, and sales data.
  • Provides actionable insights to address critical strategic questions for improving product performance, marketing campaigns, website engagement, and increase revenue.
  • Coordinates defining, developing, automating, and managing reports and dashboards, along with managing ongoing ad-hoc requests.
  • Effectively communicates data in a meaningful and insightful way based on the audience consuming the respective data, reports, and dashboards.
  • Collaborates with clients, both internally and externally, to regularly identify gaps in reporting needs, develop reports and dashboards based on the gaps, and seek feedback for the progression of reporting.
  • Coordinates data collection from various sources (spreadsheets, 3rd party software, internal databases)
  • Responsible for the intake, validation, and cleansing process of various sources
  • Recommend and support data governance processes
  • Work with the other departments on D2C data processes and workflows
  • Document and communicate data issues in a timely manner
  • Identify, report, and fix inconsistent database issues 
  • Perform data issue root cause analysis and recommend appropriate solution
  • Develop automated notifications where appropriate

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Business, or equivalent
  • 5-7 years’ experience with data collection and cleansing, analyzing patterns and trends in data sets, and developing reports, visualizations, and dashboards
  • Automotive, after-market consumer services, or insurance industry an advantage
  • Experience supporting multiple clients requests, internally and externally
  • Collaborate across multiple internal teams
  • Proficient with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
  • Proficient in SQL 
  • Experience with CRM technology (Salesforce)
  • Experience with marketing automation software (Marketing Cloud,HubSpot) 
  • Experience with web analytics software (Google Analytics)
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) 
  • Experience with project management tools (JIRA, SmartSheet, Monday)
