The RSM is responsible for driving growth through the promotion and sales of pharmacy automation products and will call on all central fill, mail order, retail, hospital and integrated delivery network (IDN) segments within the United States. The right candidate will work out of their home office and travel to customers across the country.

  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned:     

  • Drive automated dispensing solutions growth
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to central fill, mail order, retail, hospital and integrated delivery networks (IDN) pharmacies within the US, to achieve quarterly and annual goals
  • Travel (air & auto) as required to meet sales, market / business development goals.
  • Make sales presentations to multiple decision-makers
  • Regular phone and at times in-person cold calling
  • Represent Capsa Healthcare solutions at regional and national trade shows
  • Manage segment and region pipeline using Capsa’s ERP system
  • Developing strong relationships with key decision makers
  • Negotiate and prepare bids and price quotes
  • Ability to solve problems independently and manage the designated segment
  • Must understand and comply with Safety, 5S, ISO, and other corporate programs, initiatives, and procedures
  • Other duties or special projects as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • BA / BS preferred
  • Minimum 10 years sales or account management experience
  • Experience in central fill & mail order a major plus
  • Tangible product sales experience i.e. device, equipment / capital goods required
  • Experience selling to Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Dental and/or Animal Health/Veterinarian markets preferred
  • Critical thinking skills; proven ability to analyze market opportunities, develop solutions and manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management and communication skills
