Marketing Specialist Job Summary and Essential Responsibilities: 

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies and creating detailed annual marketing plans to enhance brand awareness and drive engagement. This role involves analyzing market trends, customer behaviors, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities while maintaining brand consistency through creative design, content management, and digital optimization, including social media and SEO. A qualified candidate will be able to perform the following tasks:

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, including the creation of detailed annual marketing plans to achieve business objectives.
• Build an in-depth understanding of products, internal standards, and unique differentiators to craft strategies that effectively elevate brand awareness.
• Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, customer behavior, vendor data, and competitor activities to identify new marketing opportunities and consumer patterns.
• Design and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns to engage target audiences through social media, email, newsletters, and other digital platforms.
• Oversee the creation and direction of marketing collateral, web content, and other visual communication materials to ensure alignment with the brand’s vision.
• Manage and update the company website, ensuring it remains current, SEO-optimized, and reflective of the company’s brand identity.
• Strategize, implement, and refine a robust social media presence that drives engagement and aligns with overall marketing objectives.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize the company’s digital footprint, leveraging data to track performance and enhance visibility.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including product specialists and commercial sales, to align on strategic marketing initiatives that drive business success.
• Develop and maintain a cohesive brand strategy, encompassing style guides, brand guidelines, and both short- and long-term brand vision.
• Utilize customer insights and data analytics to refine brand management efforts and ensure consistent brand representation across all channels.
• Foster strong relationships with agencies, vendors, and service providers, while effectively managing cross-functional collaborations at the local level.
• Plan and coordinate company participation in trade shows, conferences, workshops, and internal events to enhance brand exposure and engagement.
• Lead marketing data analysis efforts, including campaign performance and event participation, to inform and shape future strategies.
• Evaluate the success of marketing initiatives through detailed reporting and actionable insights.
• Oversee marketing budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and responsibly.
• Uphold compliance with environmental protection standards and occupational health and safety regulations within all marketing activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Marketing Specialist Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

• BSc/BA in marketing, communications, or equivalent preferred, but not required. 
• 2-5 years of proven experience as a Marketing Specialist or similar role is required.
• Thorough understanding of marketing elements (traditional and digital marketing, including SEO, social media, etc.) and market research methods is required.
• Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools is required.
• Solid computer skills, including MS Office, at least 2 years of experience utilizing marketing software (Adobe, Creative Suite, and CRM), and web management tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Web analytics, Google Adwords, Microsoft Clarity).
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to drive decisions with influence is preferred.
