Brief team/department description:


The Communications Manager works closely with the Sr. Director of Communications and cross-functional teams to engage colleagues, strengthen company culture, and maintain corporate brand reputation through internal and external communications. The Communications Manager is primarily responsible for managing communication channels, creating communication plans, and developing internal and external content, including content for Azurity’s intranet and website, press releases, and social media.

Principle Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement communication plans that include internal and external communications
  • Draft announcements, press releases, and social media content
  • Exemplify Azurity’s purpose and values through patient and colleague stories
  • Manage content for intranet and website, and generate reports on user activity
  • Record and edit videos
  • Work on logistics and presentations for local and companywide meetings
  • Explores new channels and tools to encourage collaboration and improve communication
  • Other projects as needed

Qualifications and Education Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in a communications-related field
  • 5+ years professional experience in corporate communications, public relations or marketing
  • Excellent writing, grammar and editing skills required, including web/social media writing best practices
  • Proficient in MS Office, SharePoint, and MS Teams
  • Video editing skills
  • Experience with InDesign or other design program a plus
  • Excellent collaboration and team skills
  • Strong project management skills; ability to manage deadlines while maintaining quality and consistency
