    About the role


    As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Coverforce, you’ll be a key player in driving growth by identifying and engaging with potential clients in the insurance technology space. You’ll be the first point of contact for prospective customers, qualifying leads, and generating new business opportunities. This role is critical in shaping our sales pipeline and fueling the success of our sales team. You’ll work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure seamless handoff of leads and will be an ambassador of our innovative solutions in the insurance industry.

    For this role, we are targeting a start date of June 2025.

    What you’ll do


    • Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities through outbound outreach and inbound lead follow-up.
    • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Coverforce’s products, services, and the insurance tech market.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the insurance space.
    • Engage with potential clients through emails, phone calls, and social media to build strong relationships and trust.
    • Schedule and participate in discovery calls with qualified leads to understand their needs and pain points.
    • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to execute lead generation strategies and campaigns.
    • Maintain accurate records of lead activities and pipeline management in the CRM system.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings to position our solutions effectively.

    You’re an ideal fit if:


    • You have 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in technology or insurance.
    • You are a self-starter with a passion for sales and building meaningful customer relationships.
    • You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex solutions simply.
    • You are results-driven and thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
    • You are comfortable using CRM tools, such as Salesforce or HubSpot, and are quick to adopt new technologies.
    • You are adaptable, open to feedback, and committed to continuous learning and development.

    Compensation


    • Base salary: $65,000 + variable compensation
