Griffin Brothers Human Capital is seeking an AP Clerk to join our team. The AP Clerk will be responsible for the identification and collection of payments, data entry, and have a basic understanding of debits and credits.

Requirements

What Will I Be Doing?


  • Reconciliation of invoices.
  • Cash disbursements.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding invoice payments and statuses.
  • Assist in month end reporting and year end closing report.
  • Ensure all invoices are paid correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Communicating with Leaders and General Managers regarding status of invoices and issues noted by client and vendor.
  • Monitor AP balances regularly.
  • Complete and submit Credit Applications.
  • W-9 Verification and collection from vendors.
  • COI requests for Subcontract Labor.
  • Vendor Set Up.
  • Credit card coding and reconciliation.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Do I Have What It Takes?


  • Experience with Concur Invoice and Concur Expense.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct preferred. 
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Detail Oriented.
  • Well organized. 
  • Prior accounting experience will be beneficial.

Preferred Education:


  • Associate’s degree or Diploma in Accounting.
