About the Job Opportunity


We’re looking for a dynamic Compensation and Payroll Administration Manager to design and manage our competitive compensation programs and oversee payroll administration. You will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, optimizing and driving compensation programs. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping programs that attract and retain top talent while ensuring smooth, compliant payroll processes. What You’ll Do


Compensation Programs


  • Drive employee awareness and understanding of their Total Rewards to motivate and drive employee satisfaction, engagement and retention
  • Collaborate in the design of competitive, compliant, efficient, and scalable compensation programs that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • To motivate and engage employees you will lead the administration of all compensation programs to ensure flawless execution and delivery.
  • Serve as the organization’s subject matter expert in Compensation, consulting with the HR Delivery Team, business leaders, and employees on compensation matters that impact business outcomes.

Bonus & Incentive Program Administration:


  • Manage and track various bonus and incentive programs, ensuring accurate and timely payouts.
  • Partner with sales operations to administer sales incentive plans and ensure alignment with performance, financial results and plan design.
  • Regularly review and adjust incentive programs to stay competitive and drive employee performance.

Employee Relations & Communication:


  • Serve as a point of contact for employees on compensation and payroll-related inquiries.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding compensation policies and payroll processes.
  • Assist in resolving compensation and payroll concerns in a timely and effective manner.

Workforce Analytics


  • Maintain data integrity within HR systems and reporting to build trust and credibility for the HR function.
  • Provide actionable insights through a monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Dashboard to drive accountability, data-driven decision-making, and results.
  • Analyze compensation and payroll data to support decision-making and provide reports for senior leadership.

Payroll Administration


  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Payroll Specialist, fostering talent development. Step in to process payroll in the absence of the Payroll Specialist.
  • Collaborate closely with HR business partners, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure compliant payroll practices.
  • Drive efficiency and effectiveness within payroll processes, identifying continuous process improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with wage and hour regulations and manage payroll tax compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

Tax Compliance & Reporting:


  • Ensure payroll tax compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, and manage tax filings and reporting.
  • Stay informed on changes in tax laws and payroll practices, implementing necessary updates.
  • Collaborate with external tax advisors to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.
  • Oversight of compliance reporting including Affirmative Action, EEO-1, VETS 4212, etc. 

What You’ll Bring


  • Excellent relationship building, consulting, leadership, and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate.
  • Strong understanding of how to develop and drive a total rewards strategy.
  • In depth data analysis and reporting competencies, with the ability to leverage HR metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Solid understanding of relevant compensation & payroll laws and regulations.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively collaborate across departments and levels within the organization.

Your Background


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Compensation design, analysis, and consulting; HR Information Systems, Reporting and workforce analytics and technology compensation systems.
  • 3+ years Payroll Processing experience with knowledge of payroll taxing and incentive payment processing.Paylocity Payroll and Compensation Experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS systems and experience with implementation and administration of compensation and payroll processing
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certifications are a plus.
