PartsSource is looking for a Collections Specialist to help decrease the company DSO. Reporting to Credit Manager, you will be responsible for collections of assigned accounts, resolving customer billing issues and reducing accounts receivable delinquency.
What You’ll Do
Collections of Assigned Accounts
- Send Monthly Statements.
- Regular follow up on past due balances on assigned accounts.
- Follow up on payment for large invoices.
Resolve Customer Billing Issues
- Research and follow up on returns.
- Provide necessary documentation to customers.
- Follow up with internal team on pricing issues and invalid POS.
Reduction of Delinquency of Open AR
- Identify issues attributing to accounting delinquency and discuss with management.
- Assist in resolving customer disputes.
- Monitor account portfolio.
What You’ll Bring
Your Background
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Minimum of 6 months prior collections experience.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Experience working with Microsoft Suite – specifically Excel.
