Business Development Manager

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead regional business development efforts focusing on land planning, landscape architecture, site design and urban design services. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate with design leaders to identify, research and develop new business opportunities.
  • Provide best practices and effective tactics to Seller-Doers for prospecting new business.
  • Participate in strategic planning, development and the implementation of business development and marketing programs.
  • Tracks, leads and maintains database using CRM system.
  • Collaborates with Communication and Marketing Team and Design leaders with proposal preparation and presentations.
  • Maintain a diverse network of relationships including people of influence within the A/E/C industry, key community partners, strategic partners, and prospective clients.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling and attending Industry events.
  • Participate in professional associations and attend networking functions to include clients and the community, and provide feedback and information on current project trends, leads and opportunities.
  • Maintain knowledge of current events and issues affecting the industry and services the firm provides.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
  • Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations to company leadership.
  • Initiate new ideas in support of organization goals and mission.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client and project requirements.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of business development experience; Denver region a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and executing lead generation and nurturing campaigns.
  • Creative and innovative thinker. 
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in measuring and evaluating the impact/value of marketing campaigns and programs.
  • Proficiency with CRM programs, Adobe Suite and MS Office.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Experience with online marketing, B2B, social media, and related is a plus.
