About the Role
As a Director of Finance Transformation at Figure, you will work closely with the CFO and finance leadership team to drive finance transformation. In this role, you will have unique visibility across the entire company from a finance perspective and serve as the key liaison between finance, leadership, and multiple departments. Your role will include responsibilities such as driving automation for the finance team, leading complex cross-department projects as the finance liaison and project manager, provide in-depth executive summaries to the CFO and executive leadership on processes and systems to efficiently streamline financial reporting.
What you’ll do
- Drive strategic initiatives to enhance our organization's financial processes, systems, and capabilities
- Assess current finance processes, systems, and controls to identify areas for enhancement and standardization.
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute finance transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Provide leadership and mentorship to finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of finance transformation initiatives.
- Lead complex cross-departmental projects as the finance leader. Communicate finance-related issues clearly in a way that is easy to understand by everyone.
- Partner with business leaders across the organization to prioritize key focus areas
What we look for
- 10+ years of experience in controllership, treasury, or tax function
- Excellent attention to detail and internal presentation skills
- Prior experience implementing systems and processes within the finance function, in coordination with engineering, product, and IT teams
- Fluency in accounting principles preferred
- Proven track record of developing strong relationships within organizations
- Prior public company experience is a plus
Salary
- Compensation Range: $180,000-$225,000 annually
- Quarterly 25 % bonus target
- Equity stock options package
- This is the compensation range for the United States, actual compensation may vary based on individual candidate experience, location, or evolving business needs
