Work Location:            Huntsville, ALSchedule:                    Full TimeRelocation:                  NegotiableWe are seeking an experienced Turbine Engine Systems Analyst to oversee and coordinate projects related to turbine engines, data acquisition systems, and test cell instrumentation. The ideal candidate will have a background in program management with strong technical expertise in turbine engine systems, electrical/software troubleshooting, and sustainment of test cell environments.

This role requires leadership, technical acumen, and the ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. An active DoD Secret level security clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.

Job Duties:


  • Support cross-functional teams to successfully execute projects related to turbine engines, data acquisition systems, and test cell instrumentation.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of electrical and software systems associated with turbine engine testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in test cell instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and turbine engine components.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet all quality and regulatory standards.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including engineering, operations, and clients, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Manage testing processes, data collection, and ensure proper functioning of measurement instrumentation.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements related to turbine engine testing and instrumentation technologies.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds. 

Qualifications:


  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years supporting complex projects, preferably within the aerospace, defense, or engineering industries.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of turbine engine systems and related testing processes. Expertise in data acquisition systems, test cell instrumentation, and associated software. Experience troubleshooting and developing electrical systems and software.
  • Measurement Instrumentation: Familiarity with key instrumentation such as thermocouples, transducers, flow meters, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
  • Education: No minimum requirement. Education and experience will be combined for qualification.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities.
