Senior Scrum Master

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to join our PMO team at Hyderabad, India location. This role focuses on driving the successful execution of complex programs and projects using Agile Scrum methodologies. The Senior Scrum Master will collaborate with cross-functional teams, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables are met on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals. This role will also provide Agile expertise to product teams and drive continuous improvements.

•    Partner with Engineering, Product, and Quality Engineering teams on medium to large-scale, complex projects and programs from initiation to completion.•    Collaborate with product leadership, senior leaders and stakeholders to align project objectives with business goals, ensuring clear priorities and a shared vision.•    Ensure that project scope is defined clearly, and the product backlog is prioritized effectively to meet key business milestones.•    Coordinate multiple Scrum teams working in parallel, facilitating collaboration and consistency across teams.•    Provide transparent and forthright communications of all areas like project plans, timelines, and progress reports to stakeholders at various levels.•    Help manage risks and dependencies and escalate impediments to meet project objectives.•    Foster and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA, and other stakeholders.

•    Champion Agile Scrum practices across product teams, ensuring adherence to the Scrum framework and Agile principles.•    Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives) with efficiency and purpose.•    Ensure continuous improvement within teams by conducting regular retrospectives and fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and adaptability.•    Help Product Owners maintain well-defined, prioritized backlogs that align with business priorities.•    Identify process bottlenecks and work with teams to find innovative solutions.•    Foster a collaborative environment where team members are empowered to deliver value, solve problems, and continuously improve their skills.•    Track and report on key performance metrics (velocity, burndown charts, cycle times, etc.) to monitor team performance and guide decision-making.•    Utilize Agile metrics to assess team health, project progress, and identify areas for process improvement.•    Promote innovation by encouraging teams to experiment with new approaches and tools that support Agile practices.•    Share industry best practices, trends, and knowledge to continuously enhance the organization’s Agile capabilities.

•    10+ years of experience with at least 5+ years in Project manager role & with at least 3 years as a Scrum Master role.•    History of successfully managing complex programs/projects with cross-functional teams.•    Demonstrated strong communication skills with global teams with an ability to communicate effectively across written, verbal and presentation formats to a variety of audiences from engineers to senior management.•    Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), with hands-on experience applying these frameworks in real-world settings.•    Strong working knowledge of MS Office, Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, etc.), whiteboard, collaboration platforms and similar applications.•    Demonstrated experience in managing, understanding team dynamics and building alignment in resolving issues.•    Exposure to modern engineering practices like TDD/ATDD, BDD, CI/CD, Pair Programming.•    Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.•    Certifications: Professional Scrum Master (PSM 1), or equivalent Agile certifications; additional project management certifications (PMP, PMI-ACP) a plus.
