Internship Program Summary


Are you a 2025 college graduate or rising college senior? AbelsonTaylor Group is looking for 9 Chicago area-based interns to join our 2025 Summer Internship Program, nextgenerATion.  Our internship program offers a rewarding experience that fosters creativity, collaboration, and inclusivity. You’ll collaborate with professionals across all levels, gaining hands-on experience to give you a competitive edge in your career. During the program, you’ll have the chance to engage with teams from various departments.

Additionally, you’ll collaborate with fellow interns on an exciting, summer-long group project! 

Account Management Intern 


As an Account Management intern, you will learn the pillars of strong account management and an in-depth understanding of all agency departments are learned. Proactivity, attention to detail, and accountability are key traits for success. You’ll work directly with the Account Management team to support campaigns that promote life-saving therapies to patients and healthcare providers. This includes hands-on experience drafting project proposals, managing print and digital projects, participating in brainstorms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and assisting in a variety of other tasks to ensure client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is curious, proactive, has strong attention to detail, and is accountable for their assigned work and responsibilities.

What You'll Do 


  • Work alongside Account Managers throughout the life-cycle of a project and get an up-close view of how a campaign comes to life 
  • Gain exposure to a range of projects, therapeutic areas, clients, and high-stakes decision-making and cutting-edge industry practices
  • Take detailed notes during meetings and help the project lead create clear and concise summaries and recaps that capture discussions and next steps
  • Learn about brand objectives and strategies, product claims and supporting data, target customers, and competitive positioning – all key components to creating Advertising Programs in a dynamic and constantly evolving space
  • Partner closely with the project management team to track deliverables and ensure flawless execution of projects from start to finish
  • Collaborate with fellow interns on a comprehensive, final project to feature in your professional portfolio 

Who You Are 


  • A graduating senior (2025) or an undergraduate junior (graduating 2026) 
  • Eager to learn about account management and the world of marketing and advertising
  • Obsessed with the nitty gritty details, time-management, organization, and eager to learn new skills 
  • Self-starters who thrive in a fast-moving environment and are eager to make a meaningful impact
  • A champion of diversity and an inclusive culture, who uses cultural competence to propel agency and client business forward
  • The ability to work independently and reliably on a hybrid schedule consisting of remote and weekly on-site visits to our Chicago office 

Compensation Range:$18.00 to $20.00 per hour.


The starting salary offer will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
