Job Summary:
- Manage the Customer Expected Delivery Date (CEDD) program to ensure the highest accuracy, quality of information, and roll out new capabilities to drive customer satisfaction
- The goal of the Customer Expected Delivery Date program is to accurately predict when our customer will receive their order
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proactively participate in identifying opportunities for process improvement & developing solutions
- Assist the SCM Architect to identify, prioritize and test opportunities to change and facilitate their implementation into the system. Participate in the implementation of related technology solutions and applications to enhance performance
- Participate in any ad-hoc requests or special projects as assigned
- Work through the daily programmatic activities related to the ongoing management of Zoro’s designated service
- Improve current processes by eliminating waste and implementing creative solutions to problems, including automation to effectively streamline and reduce additional touch points
- Drive the business requirements in building, maintaining and improving the service
- Maintenance of the program
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Expertise in supply chain. 3+ years business experience with working knowledge of supply chain.
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort leveraging data to make recommendations and drive change
- Effective and professional communication to all levels of audience, including senior leaders
- Self-driven and curious. Takes initiative and effectively identifies and priorities opportunities, builds plans and delivers results
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong project/program management skills with solid financial acumen with exposure to business disciplines outside of Supply Chain.
- Experience analyzing large data sets and using that analysis to drive business plans and priorities with intermediate proficiency in programs including G-suite productivity tools, Microsoft Word, Excel, SQL, Looker and other database and reporting tools.
Compensation:Below is the anticipated base pay compensation range for this position. This position is eligible for participation in our short-term incentive program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.The range provided is not a guarantee of compensation. The range reflects the potential base pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual base pay compensation will depend, in part, on factors such as geographic work location and relevant experience and skills. The anticipated compensation range described below is subject to change and the compensation ultimately paid may be higher or lower than the range described above.
