Job Summary


This position is responsible for managing and leading the legislative and regulatory review efforts from preliminary regulatory and legislative research leading to modeling/scenario planning through implementation assigned programs and products. Responsible for recommending solutions for the business , creating responses, developing divisional policies and procedures, and creating scenarios for pending or adopted legislation or regulations, and the resulting potential impact on the organization. May coach and mentor staff.
Dearborn:Responsible for managing and facilitating internal and external operational audits, including tracking regulatory and contractual requirements related to audits. Work closely with management in the Legal/Regulatory Oversight & Compliance Departments to accumulate legal/regulatory operational requirements and educate business partners on operational requirements. Identifies operational gaps, assesses risk and works with business partners to develop compliant solutions. Assists business partners in the development of compliant policies and procedures.

Produces meaningful reports to leadership on the outcomes of key audits.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor degree and 5 years of experience in business or project management OR 9 years experience in business or project management 3 years of regulatory experience Experience providing support to senior staff in process re-engineering and strategic problem-solving Knowledge of financial and statistical analysis and interpretation, impact analysis and quantitative/data modeling methods Experience conducting analyses and developing, executing and communicating strategic and operational impacts Creative thinking skills Experience providing strategic and tactical direction based on quantitative and qualitative analyses Knowledge of the regulatory process and Health Care Industry business processes, functions and drivers Experience providing support to senior-level staff in process re-engineering and strategic problem-solving Knowledge of enterprise business operations Writing, executive presentation, verbal communication, facilitation, decision-making, and interpersonal skills Organizational skills and detail oriented. Experience working independently and responding to rapidly changing prioritiesPREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree or J.D.Dearborn:Required Job Qualifications:  * Bachelor’s or equivalence in a related field AND 5 years of experience in business environment.* Minimum 3 years of legal and/or regulatory implementation experience.* Minimum 3 years of experience in leading teams and/or projects.* Experience in providing support to senior staff in process re-engineering and strategic problem-solving.* Experience in conducting analyses and developing, executing and communicating strategic and operational impacts.* Creative thinking skills.* Knowledge of the regulatory and legislative processes, functions and drivers.* Writing, executive presentation, verbal communication, facilitation, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.* Organizational skills and detail oriented.* Experience working independently, responding to rapidly changing priorities.Preferred Job Qualifications:* Master’s Degree or J.D.THIS IS A FLEX ROLE 3 DAYS IN OFFICE 2 DAYS FROM HOME#LI-HYBRID-FLEX

Base Pay Range

$60,300.00 - $133,400.00
