Your Role:


As the Coordinator, Career and Internships on the CEA CAPA Prague team, you will play a key role in managing and delivering employability programs for international students. Your responsibilities will include building strong relationships with local organizations, overseeing the successful implementation of CIP programs such as the Global Internship Program, Global Business Consulting Program, and Community-Engaged Global Learning Program, and guiding students through their professional development journey.

In addition to your local work, you will collaborate closely with the global CIP team to ensure students have a high-quality, professional, and educational experience.

What You’ll Do:


Internship Coordination:

  • Collaborate with local and global CIP colleagues to advise and support CIP students throughout all phases of the student journey.
  • Facilitate experiential placements by matching students with appropriate host organizations, based on experience (academic and personal), interests, and goals.
  • Oversee student progress, providing ongoing support and mentorship to help them consider their learning objectives for the program and achieve personal and professional development.  
  • Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of CIP programs, making improvements where necessary.

Employer Relations & Business Development:

  • Utilize business development techniques, including but not limited to, lead generation, networking in the local community and portfolio growth to build and develop our partnership database, ensuring we have a diverse range of opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with local host organizations.
  • Advise and assist host organizations in understanding their role and responsibilities when partnering with CEA CAPA on a CIP program.  
  • Ensure that host organizations are supported throughout the partnership to provide productive experience.  
  • Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of host organization partnerships, making improvements where necessary.

Student Support:

  • Conduct student orientations and assist with the design and delivery of career development workshops and presentations as needed.
  • Monitor and evaluate student experiences and provide support and advice to students on career development & professional skills.
  • Engage with and manage stakeholder relationships throughout the program.  

Administrative and Operational Support:

  • Maintain accurate databases of host organizations, student placements, and evaluations.
  • Utilize program data to create program reports and provide feedback to internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Academic teams & faculty to support the successful running of experiential courses.
  • Facilitate student Mock Interviews within experiential courses.  
  • Participate in CEA CAPA events such as student arrival and departure activities and other social or professional events.
  • Supporting the organization in providing program overviews and site visits to visiting institutions

Global Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with international colleagues, teams and CIP Leadership to ensure program alignment and consistency across multiple locations.
  • Contribute to the design, development and implementation of projects and best practices across the global CIP community

What Makes a Great Candidate:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Authorization to work in the Czech Republic.
  • Fluency in English and Czech
  • Experience in talent acquisition, internship coordination, or student support is a plus. 
  • Experience in professional development, internship coordination, or higher education settings (preferred).
  • Experience living or working abroad, with a knowledge of the local culture, history, business practices, and academic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, colleagues, and external partners. 
  • The ability to build and maintain professional relationships with a variety of stakeholders. 
  • A creative and flexible approach to addressing challenges, both anticipated and unforeseen. 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines. 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with teams locally and globally. 
  • Strong sense of empathy and commitment to student welfare, with a professional but approachable demeanour.
