Global Housing Manager

Your Role:
The role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing student housing experience from student arrival to departure. This role focuses on the student experience, ensuring the effective delivery of great core housing services for our students. Working with local teams, establishing housing service standard procedures, policies, and enhancing housing services. The Student Services Housing Manager is crucial in ensuring that CEA CAPA students have access to safe, high-quality housing, that enhances their overall educational experience.

By effectively managing housing operations, policies, and services, this role contributes directly to student satisfaction and the operational success of CEA CAPA.This role can be performed remotely from Italy, Spain, the Czech Republic, or the UK for candidates with the proper work authorization. While we’re unable to provide visa sponsorship, we welcome applicants who are already authorized to work in these countries to join our team from wherever they work best! What You’ll Do:Housing Service & Best Practices

  • Develop and implement best housing practices, fostering a unified approach to student housing local management.
  • Define and implement CEA CAPA housing inclusions.
  • Manage and lead continuous improvement for housing regarding the student experience and day-to-day functions for housing coordinators onsite, identifying efficiencies and solutions to improve processes and standardize across sites.  
  • Lead working groups to model and replicate what works in housing procedures including check-in/check-out processes, student orientation, maintenance issues management, as well as provider relationships and rapport-building.
  • Enforces service enhancements based on student feedback, ensuring housing services meet or exceed expectations.
  • Manage, lead, and report on compliance regarding housing cases within the database. Reporting on trends, producing case studies for shared learning opportunities. 
  • Collaborate with Student Services teams to integrate housing support with broader student care initiatives, including health, safety and cultural adaptation.
  • Ensure that housing services are inclusive, equitable, and supportive of diverse student needs. Collaborate with teams to address Access, Opportunity, and Inclusion in housing policies and practices.
  • Defines and writes SOPs and provides guidelines and onboarding training to new Housing Coordinators. 
  • Collaborates in the data input team effort for the timely upload of housing inventory and delivery of Placement Letters.

Communication and Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Coordinate regular meetings with Housing Coordinators to ensure smooth communication and seamless operations across all housing services
  • Works closely with Housing Strategy Manager, collaborating on process, projects, and continuous improvement
  • Build a keen sense of community within the Housing Coordinator network through regular communication and collaboration initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Institutional Relations, Enrollment, and Communications team to discuss CEA CAPA housing services to ensure alignment. Review and provide input as it relates to service-related issues.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and student services teams, to ensure housing operations align with CEA CAPA’s goals.
  • Organize and maintain resources within the Microsoft Teams channel, ensuring materials are easily accessible and up to date for all team members.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Enrollment to implement proactive strategies that ensure clear student expectation management in terms of web descriptions and clear advisory processes. 
  • Gather positive housing experiences and success stories to highlight the impact of housing services and share with stakeholders.

Housing Student Services

  • Define and execute Residence Life services and amenities for CEA CAPA. 
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to define learning objectives for student housing, ensuring the housing experience is both educational and enriching for students.

Housing Policies and Compliance

  • Develop and maintain global housing policies that ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with local regulations across all regions.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards in all student housing, working closely with regional teams to address any issues.
  • Support regional housing teams on the implementation and enforcement of housing policies.
  • Monitor Salesforce housing case management. Liaise with other functions in the resolution of student complaints and/or refund requests.

What Makes a Great Candidate:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Additional certifications in Data Analysis, Statistical Software (e.g., R, Python, or SPSS), or Data Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) would be advantageous
  • Project management skills and experience
  • Fluency in English 
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in similar role
  • Familiarity with the USA Higher Education system a plus
  • Experience in working with diverse identities
  • Authorization to work in the location of the role

  • Proficiency in data collection methodologies and tools (surveys, interviews, data scraping, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience to analyze large datasets
  • Good knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques, with the ability to present complex data clearly and engagingly
  • Advance knowledge of Excel, strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to inform strategic decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Presentation skills with the ability to create visually compelling and informative statistical presentations
  • Cultural sensitivity and experience working in a multicultural environment, with the ability to tailor communication and training styles to different audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure accuracy and integrity of data collected, analysed, and presented
  • Strong focus on quality control and the validation of data sets to ensure reliable results
  • Collaborative team player, able to work across departments and with remote teams
