Your Role:
The role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing student housing data collection and its maintenance across Global Operations. It focuses on the development and implementation of systems that collect key housing performance metrics, facilitating proactive and effective fulfilment and optimization of student bed need, and rental costs. This role also helps develop and implement tools for an agile local housing management, enhancing housing services. The Global Insights Analyst is crucial in ensuring adequate and accurate overview data that drives business decisions, optimizing housing costs and resources, and identifying trends and opportunities in student housing.

By effectively monitoring housing performance metrics and developing tools to enhance local housing management efficiency, this role contributes to a proactive and well-informed bed search and fulfilment, contributing to the organization's strategy to optimize its housing resources.This role can be performed remotely from Italy, Spain, the Czech Republic, or the UK for candidates with the proper work authorization. While we’re unable to provide visa sponsorship, we welcome applicants who are already authorized to work in these countries to join our team from wherever they work best!What You’ll Do:Housing Fulfilment and Operations

  • Monitors forecast and oversees student bed fulfilment across global operations, ensuring that housing capacity meets current and projected student enrolment. Raising the flag during times of risk.
  • Coordinate with regional housing teams collecting housing inventory information, facilitating timely and cost-effective bed placements.
  • Monitor occupancy rates and detects excess or deficit in housing inventory, contributing to procurement and supplemental fees strategies as needed. 
  • Develop and implement operational processes to streamline housing assignments, rooming lists, and housing transitions for students.
  • Works with local teams to identify operational inefficiencies and collaborates with IT to develop tools that will optimize staff time and enhance student service.
  • Stay observant of and monitor any new upcoming tools that can serve agile local operational processes. Develop tools and systems to monitor housing cost & occupation at a local and global level. 
  • Collaborate with Program Development and Enrolment to implement proactive strategies that ensure bed occupation and minimum unnecessary rental expenses.
  • Liaise closely with site teams to coordinate the Housing Application launch. Participate in the data input team effort for the timely upload of housing inventory and delivery of Placement Letters

Housing Insights and Analytics

  • Gather and analyse key housing performance data: on student housing preferences, occupancy trends, contracts, and market conditions across different regions to inform decision-making.
  • Create regular reports and dashboards to provide insights on housing performance, including costs, occupancy rates, and student satisfaction.
  • Identify emerging trends and potential risks in the student housing market, providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Benchmark housing services against industry standards to ensure competitive offerings and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to quarterly business reviews on housing performance, coupled with identifying risks and opportunities to optimize costs.
  • Identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relevant to housing. 
  • Coordinate with Finance and Operations teams to align on performance metrics and risks. 

Vendor and Stakeholder Management

  • Collects contract data. 
  • Monitor contract conditions across locations to facilitate risk assessment analysis.
  • In collaboration and coordination with leadership and local housing managers, search and connect with multi-city housing vendors when needed 
  • Assist in the negotiation of contracts and terms with multi-locations housing providers to secure favourable rates and services for students.
  • Remain observant of and monitor any students’ housing procurement fairs, attending if necessary.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and student services teams, to ensure housing operations align with CEA CAPA’s goals.
  • Collect and maintain contract data. Monitor contract conditions across locations to facilitate risk assessment analysis. 

Communication and Reporting

  • Works with IT to ensure efficient, agile, and accurate data transfer to automate dashboards in Salesforce, StarRez and other data-collecting tool employed.
  • Regularly produce presentations and reports illustrating key housing performance metrics to contribute to both local and global housing management.
  • Keep historic data and statistics to identify trends 
  • Educate and help local housing coordinators in the use of data management tools so they can easily facilitate and produce useful data for the business at a local and global level.
  • Write processes and manuals and participate in onboarding processes.
  • Participates in Housing Coordinators meetings to stay in contact with local challenges
  • Responsible for feeding channel in Microsoft Operations Team with key housing statistics

What Makes a Great Candidate:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Additional certifications in Data Analysis, Statistical Software (e.g., R, Python, or SPSS), or Data Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) would be advantageous
  • Project management skills and experience
  • Fluency in English 
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in similar role
  • Familiarity with the USA Higher Education system a plus
  • Experience in working with diverse identities
  • Authorization to work in the location of the role

  • Strong analytical skills, with experience to analyze large datasets
  • Good knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques, with the ability to present complex data clearly and engagingly
  • Advance knowledge of Excel, strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to inform strategic decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Presentation skills with the ability to create visually compelling and informative statistical presentations
  • Cultural sensitivity and experience working in a multicultural environment, with the ability to tailor communication and training styles to different audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure accuracy and integrity of data collected, analysed, and presented
  • Strong focus on quality control and the validation of data sets to ensure reliable results
  • Collaborative team player, able to work across departments and with remote teams
