Sr. UX Designer

UX Designer to design applications and platforms that meet internal and external customer’s requirements. Designer will combine interfaces and workflows to enhance user experience across DCLI’s applications. In this role, the Designer will use analytical and creative processes to grasp user needs and solve existing pain points with existing applications.

Job Duties                                                                                                                                          


  • Understand application specifications and user psychology.
  • Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback.
  • Create personas through user research and data.
  • Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success.
  • Develop wireframes and prototypes around user needs.
  • Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
  • Work with UI designers to implement attractive designs.
  • Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers.
  • Utilize the 8 stages of UX design process: Define, Discover, Research, Engage, Evolve, Testing, Q&A, Execute.

Qualifications


  • BA/BS in Design (interaction, visual communication, graphic, product, industrial) or related discipline with a Minor in Psychology
  • 6+ years UX experience in building mobile and web friendly apps
  • Advanced in Figma or Adobe XD to create digital prototypes.
  • Experience with design research, user testing and direct customer interactions
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in teams.
  • Strong work ethic, ability to work well with cross functional teams.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
