Equipment Engineering Technician

You will support the Equipment Services organization by maintaining, initiating and implementing technical improvements and provide support to the manufacturing organization. You will be assigned ownership of a tool group where you are the primary point of contact and decision maker.
As a tool owner you are responsible for tool performance and availability of your equipment. Besides problem analyzing and solving you will actively develop, enhance and introduce tool improvements on product quality, throughput, scrap-reduction, and cost savings. This position will report to the metrology equipment section manager.

Responsibilities:


  • Drive improvement to meet committed KPI (availability) through deep dive analysis and innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Build good collaboration with all stake holder (Hardware, PM, Manufacturing, process & engineering). 
  • Provide training to technicians to improve their knowledge and skill
  • Continuously engaged in improvement projects.
  • Possess positive attitude when dealing with all levels of people including technicians, engineers, peers and managers from maintenance, manufacturing, process & engineering.

Requirements: 


1. Associates Degree in electronics, automation, or electromechanical preferred.2. Minimum 5  years work experience in the semiconductor industry or related field3. Able to work alone or in a team environment.4. Self starter and high level of personal energy desired.5.
